The Grand Old Duke of York

The Grand Old Duke of York,

He had ten thousand men.

He marched them up the hill,

and marched them down again.

Now when you’re up, you ‘re up;

and when you’re down, you’re down.

And when you’re only halfway up,

You’re neither up nor down.

(Keep repeating going faster each time)

Actions to be added after the first run through.

Whenever you sing “up” stand up.

Whenever you sing “down”┬ásit down.

Whenever you sing “half way” stand a little bit crouched.

And then you can do it all again only backwards (sit when singing “up”, stand when singing “down”)
