Fire Service Visit
17 June 2010.
Cubs had a night of fun and education when they were visited by Sue Walsh, from Goole Fire Station.
Sue entertained and informed them for an hour last thursday, combining games and quizzes with a more serious message, passing on the knowledge they need to stay safe, whilst keeping the tone lighthearted. The evening also introduced Cubs to people out in the community , such as the Fire Brigade, who help other people and counts as part of the Community Challenge Badge, which is itself a part of the Chief Scout silver Award.
Thanks to Sue for a great evening.
